Creatine x Electrolytes

Pink Grapefruit Tropical

The full 5g of creatine your muscles use to refuel between exercise, plus the four electrolytes you sweat out. One scoop, 83p a day.

Training and want more from every session? Running or playing sport and sweating buckets? Creatine x Electrolytes is for both.

One scoop, once a day. Creatine helps you perform better in short, hard bursts of exercise. The electrolytes put back what a sweaty session takes out, and the magnesium helps reduce tiredness. Tastes like pink grapefruit. No loading phase, ever.

You get to the last set with something left.

Benefits

More out of every set.

Your muscles run their hardest efforts on a molecule called ATP and burn through it in seconds. Creatine is what rebuilds it fast, so you can go again sooner and harder. Creatine helps you perform better in short, hard bursts: lifts, sprints, intervals. The full 5g, not 3g like most other products.

Ready to go again tomorrow.

A session takes minerals out with the sweat. Sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium go back in with the scoop, so the water you drink after training hydrates and reenergises you. Magnesium helps keep your electrolytes in balance.

More energy through the day.

Magnesium is part of how your body turns food into energy, so running low shows up as tiredness. Magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, and helps your muscles work normally.

Stronger over time.

Creatine builds up in your muscles over weeks, not hours. Take it daily and the fitness work you're already doing improves and gets easier..

No bloating, no loading.

5g a day gets you to full saturation in three to four weeks, without the 20g days and the gut complaints that come with them. Rest days included.

Actually nice to drink.

Pink grapefruit, not chalky like most creatine powders. No sugar, no caffeine, so it works in the evening too.

Ingredients

Creatine monohydrate, acidity regulators (citric acid, malic acid), trisodium citrate, potassium citrate, natural flavourings, magnesium bisglycinate (buffered with magnesium oxide), calcium citrate, Himalayan pink salt, sweetener (steviol glycosides from stevia), colours (beetroot red, carotenes).

How to use

One heaped scoop (10g) in 200 to 500ml of cold water. Shake or stir. Once daily, any time of day, every day, rest days included. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

The beneficial effect of creatine is obtained with a daily intake of 3g, for adults doing high-intensity exercise. One scoop gives you 5g, the dose used across most of the research.

WHAT HAPPENS, AND WHEN

Fully topped up in 3 to 4 weeks. Creatine builds up in your muscles, one scoop a day, no loading phase.

  • Day 1 - Hydrate faster

Sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium, back in with every scoop. The magnesium helps keep your electrolytes in balance.

    Creatine x Electrolytes
  • Weeks 1 to 3 - muscles filling up

Creatine builds up a little every day, so take it every day and drink enough water.

    Creatine x Electrolytes
  • Week 4 - fully topped up

This is where it shows: creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. More reps, faster sprints, one more hill.

    Creatine x Electrolytes
  • Every day after to stay energised

One scoop a day keeps your muscles topped up. The magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, so the energy holds through the session and the day after

THE SCIENCE BEHIND CREATINE X ELECTROLYTES

Your muscles run on a few seconds of fuel

All exercises and fitness run on a molecule called ATP, and a muscle only holds a few seconds' worth. Creatine is the reserve your body uses to rebuild it. Top up the reserve and the muscle is ready to go again sooner.

Creatine needs sodium to get in

Creatine doesn't soak into a muscle. It goes in through a doorway in the cell wall, and that doorway only opens when sodium goes through with it. The 350mg of sodium in every scoop is the key opening the door to creatine.

Magnesium turns it back into energy

The enzyme that rebuilds ATP from creatine only works with magnesium alongside it. Creatine stores the energy; magnesium lets your muscle spend it. Magnesium helps your body turn food into energy and helps your muscles work normally.

The water stays where the creatine put it

Creatine draws water into the muscle, which is part of how it works. Sweat takes sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium out; one scoop puts them back, so the water stays useful. One scoop a day, and you're fully topped up in three to four weeks.

Frequently asked questions

  • No. Loading phases get you to full muscle saturation a little faster, but a steady 5g a day gets you to the same place within three to four weeks, without the gut complaints that come with 20g days. One scoop, every day.

  • Whenever you'll actually remember it. Timing matters far less than consistency, because creatine works by building up in your muscles over weeks, not by kicking in before a session. Morning coffee. Pre-gym. With dinner. Pick a slot and keep it.

  • Yes. Your muscles don't know it's Sunday. Saturation only holds if intake is daily, so rest days count as much as training days.

  • Creatine draws water into your muscle cells. That's how it works, and it isn't the same as bloating in your stomach. Some people notice a small change on the scales in the first weeks. That's water in the muscle, doing its job.

  • Yes. The 5g dose is the researched dose for adults. Creatine helps you perform better in short, hard bursts of exercise, and that applies to whoever's doing the fitness work.

  • Because you sweat when you train, and sweat takes sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium with it. The blend puts back what a session takes out, and the magnesium helps keep your electrolytes in balance. One scoop, two jobs.

  • Pink grapefruit, genuinely. Not a chalky powdery taste. The powder's fine enough to dissolve in cold water without the gritty last mouthful most creatine leaves behind.

  • No caffeine, no sugar, no stimulants. Sweetened with stevia and coloured with beetroot red and carotenes, so you can take it in the evening without staring at the ceiling.
